Quality Area 5: Relationships With Children
Quality Area 5 of the National Quality Standard focuses on fostering responsive, respectful relationships with children that enhance their sense of security and belonging. These relationships encourage children to freely explore their environment and actively participate in play and learning activities.
Purpose
Relationships with children underpin all aspects of programs and routines within the service. Outlining the values that support these relationships will guide Educators to build respectful and meaningful relationships at the service.
